Job Details:

 

Job Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Adjust timecards for all Managers, Finance, Sales for bi-weekly payroll.
  • Train all Managers and timekeepers in timesheet maintenance and Time and Attendance policies. Ensure lieu hour balances and vacation hours balances are accurate in accordance with policy/use. Audit proper use of absence codes by Managers/Timekeepers.
  • Produce the time reconciliation report prior to transmit to payroll.
  • Enter all new employee files
  • Track and enter hourly pay changes in accordance with pay grid for Mucci Pac.
  • Verify position change submissions from Managers, relay to HR Manager/Director of Supply Chain Management for signature and enter into ADP when approved
  • Enter approved hourly pay changes from performance reviews
  • Provide attendance reports for performance reviews and train managers on retrieval
  • Train Managers with regard to system changes, report availability, etc.
  • Back up payroll clerk during absences with regard to inquiries
  • Assist with compilation of HR data such as headcount, turnover, wage surveys, due diligence requests.
  • Maintain ID card system, adding and deleting users and maintaining zones and groups along with IT.

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • University/College diploma or certificate in Human Resources is preferred
  • 1-2 years of experience in one or more of the following areas: recruitment, employee relations, compensation administration
  • Knowledge of all HR related legislative requirements: Ministry of Labour, WSIB, Human Rights, Occupational Health and Safety, etc.
  • Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
  • Ability to work under pressure, to multi-task and to reprioritize tasks on a daily basis
  • Ability to communicate effectively (written, oral and spoken) in English
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Outlook
  • Excellent documentation, communication, computer and time management skills
