Good Food Safety Practice is a fundamental guiding principle of our business.

We strictly implement and monitor Food Safety Principles including Good Agriculture Practice (GAP), Good Hygienic Practice (GHP), Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) in our Greenhouses, Packhouses and Storage & Distribution Centers. All our facilities and operations are fully certified for Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) standard.

KEY ELEMENTS OF MUCCI FOOD SAFETY PROGRAMS

â–º Controlled Greenhouse Environment:

Produce are grown using advance hydroponic technology under fully controlled environment for increased food safety assurance in an efficient and environmentally friendly way.

â–ºIntegrated Pest Management (IPM):

Greenhouses use Integrated Pest Management (IPM), an effective and environment Friendly, approach for pest control to ensuring food safety by minimizing chemical uses.

â–º Properly Grown, Packed and Transported:

We have highly trained and experienced group of people. Produce are grown, packed and distributed at Controlled Temperature and Humidity in strict hygienic environment. We use refrigerated trucks for delivery to maintain the safety and integrity of the produce.

â–º Chemical Free Cleaning and Sanitation Technology:

We use the Lotus Professional Cleaning System to clean and sanitize our facilities. This is a 100% chemical free technology which uses ordinary tap water as a powerful cleaner and sanitizer.

â–º Effective Traceability and Recall System:

We are accountable for effective food safety management at all levels of the supply chain including Greenhouses, packing facility, distribution center, and transport operation. We can trace our produce consistently and efficiently from the point of origin to the point of consumption.

â–º In-house Food Safety Laboratory:

We have moderately equipped Food Safety Laboratory for conducting Chemical/ Microbiological testing and Post-harvest/Shelf-life studies. All incoming and shipping-out produce are checked regularly for food safety compliance. In-house results are regularly verified by independent and accredited third party laboratories.

â–º Hygiene Monitored by ATP Bioluminescence:

We strictly follow Good hygienic Practices and monitor the compliance of hygiene and sanitation process daily by using advance ATP Bioluminance technique.

â–º International Standard Food Safety Certification:

Our facilities including Greenhouses, pack houses and warehouses are audited annually to PrimusGFS Standards- Comprehensive Food Safety and Quality Management System. This ensures and demonstrates our commitment to delivering the safest, highest quality product to our customers.
