Strawberry Tomato Jam

The sweet-savoury jam is a great house gift and is a versatile addition to cheese platters, or as a chutney that can be enjoyed all year round.

  • 2 cups Mucci Farms Smuccies Sweet Strawberries

  • 4 cups (1 lb) Mucci Farms Cherto On-The-Vine Tomatoes

  • 35 - 40 small, fresh mint leaves

  • 1 tsp. fresh lemon juice

  • 1/8 tsp. ground cinnamon

  • ½ tsp. salt

  • 1 cup extra fine sugar

  • Cut tomatoes and strawberries in half and place in a large pot. Roll mint leaves, three at a time and finely chop. Add all remaining ingredients to pot on medium heat and bring to a boil, uncovered. Reduce heat to simmer, stirring every 3-4 minutes to make sure the ingredients don’t stick to the bottom of the pot. Cook for 35-45 mins. until the mixture has thickened and has the consistency of loose jam. Store in airtight containers and refrigerate (will keep up to a week).
